Hellen van Meene: “Dogs and Girls” Feb 10 - Mar 31, 2012 at Gallery Koyanagi in Toyko. This show looks great; I wish I could see it in it’s entirety. A nod to Tokyo Art Beat for introducing me to this amazing Dutch photographer today. From her site: “Hellen van Meene is an artist who makes photos, mostly portraits, mostly of young people, and mostly of girls… She is the single subject of three books and appears along other artists in many other books and magazines. She lives in Heiloo, The Netherlands.”
