A word on abortion and the debates.

I am so tired of hearing two men debate abortion, As If.

First of all, two women would not have this debate and feign faux piousness about it.

Secondly, whether you are pro-life OR pro-choice, I think we can all agree no one is skipping with joy to get an abortion and reducing the number of them is about access to birth control and education. The answer to this question is never framed around economics. Right now, the GOP always defaults to the Economy when choice comes up. It drives me crazy that the Dems don’t thread that needle. No one ever says we need to work together on this issue to better people’s lives.

Lastly, religious people do not have the moral high ground on this, as if athiests don’t possess a conscience.
